Step by step

Open the scanner and point it at the first card.
Move on to the next card — each match is added to the session list.
Open the session list to review the matches and pick the right printing where needed.
Choose the collection the cards should go to and add them.

Work through a stack

Use a session for a pack opening, trade binder or box of cards. Scan cards one at a time, then review the list together.

On iPad in landscape, the session list sits beside the camera so you can watch it fill up while you scan.

Check before you add

Some printings share artwork. Confirm each printing in the session list before adding the cards. This keeps the saved copies and set progress tied to the versions you own.

Common questions

Does a scan session recognize a whole binder page at once?

No. Live sessions collect matches as you scan cards one after another. For photo identification, use one card per photo rather than a whole binder page.

Can I scan a whole stack without stopping?

Yes. Keep scanning and every match is added to the session list. Review the list when you are done.

Can I choose which collection the cards go to?

Yes. Pick the destination collection when you add the cards from the session.

Is there a limit on how many cards I can scan?

On the free plan, live scanning has a daily limit on iPhone and iPad. Pro removes it.
